May 24, 1996: Inauguration at Vision Center in the Crenshaw district. The Hedzoleh Band played with lead singer Bob Pinodo. This was a big hit and talk around town for a long time. This was the Memorial Day weekend. Subsequently, our anniversaries were celebrated on the Memorial Day weekend.
May 31, 1997: 1st Anniversary celebration dance at Vision Center, Crenshaw.
May 23, 1998: 2nd Anniversary at Mayflower Ballroom, 234 Hindry Avenue, Inglewood, Live Music with Faya Band led by Bart Plange.
December 19, 1998: End of year party in Fontana, hosted by Sophia and Charles Blankson.
Memorial Day weekend 1999: No celebration of 3rd Anniversary.
May 27, 2000: 4th Anniversary celebration dance at the French Quarter, 5047 West Pico Boulevard in Los Angeles.
May 26, 2001: 5th Anniversary celebration dance at theMaverick’s Flat, 4225 Crenshaw Boulevard in Los Angeles.
Memorial Day weekend 2002: No celebration of 6th Anniversary.
May 24, 2003: 7th Anniversary celebration with Dinner Cruise at the Hornblower Cruises at Marina del Rey.
May 29, 2004: 8th Anniversary celebration at the Maverick’s Flat, 4225 Crenshaw Boulevard in Los Angeles.
November 20, 2004: Thanksgiving party at 1734 Amberidge Way, Palmdale, CA 93551 hosted by Vidah and Ato Mbeah
Memorial Day weekend 2005: No celebration of 9th Anniversary.
November 19, 2005: Thanksgiving party at 11676 Eldridge Avenue, Lakeview Terrace, CA 91342 hosted by Margaret and Joe Forson.
May 20, 2006: 10th Anniversary celebration with dinner dance at the Hilton Hotel, 100 Haven Avenue in Ontario.
May 26 – 28, 2007: 11th Anniversary. No celebration but we went on a trip to the Grand Canyon with the Mfantseman Kuw of California.
December 8, 2007: Christmas party at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 3647 Watseka Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90034. This venue was arranged for us by John Dadzie whose very good friend Rev. Vincent Shamo is pastor at this parish.
May 30, 2008: 12th Anniversary at Hilton Hotel, 100 Haven Avenue, Ontario.
December 13, 2008: Christmas party at 8721 Wiley Post Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90045 hosted by Naana and Frank Bonney.
Memorial Day weekend 2009: 13th Anniversary. No celebration. Some AEFAmembers went with Mfantseman Kuw of California members to Napa Valley Wine Country.
December 12, 2009: Christmas party at 6106 Edgefield Avenue, Lakewood, CA 90713 hosted by Persis and Justice Ghartey.
May 29, 2010: Dinner Cruise with Mfantseman Kuw of California to celebrate our 14thanniversary.
Kobena Lartson, president of the Colorado Mfantseman Kuw was in town purposely to attend this event.
July 9 – 11, 2010: The inauguration of Mfantseman Associations of North America (MANA) in Denver Colorado. Several members of Mfantseman Kuw of California, Sophia and Charles Blankson of AEFASC went to Denver to represent MfantseKuw of Southern California.
December 11, 2010: Christmas Party at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 3647 Watseka, Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90034.
December 13, 2011: Christmas Party at St. Mary's Episcopal Church at 3647 Watseka, Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90034. We had the largest attendance of members ever at any such event.
May 19, 2012: Dinner meeting at the Home Town Buffet Restaurant at 1230 West Redondo Beach Boulevard, Gardena, CA 90247.
December 21, 2013: End-of-Year Party was held at 1828 SeaBreeze Street, the home of Robert and Joanne Hanson-Bonney in Thousand Oaks.
April 25, 2015: Party at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Nativity at 6700 West 83rd Street, Los Angeles, CA 90045. This is the home church of Naana & Frank Bonney. The senior pastor is Rev. Peter Rook.
July 11, 2015: AEFASC linked up with the other Ghanaian ethnic groups under the auspices of the Ghana Association for a picnic at the Bonelli Park near Raging Waters in San Dimas.
